Philip Deignan bounced back to form in the opening stage of the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe in France where he placed 35th following an earlier bid to escape as part of a ten man breakaway.
The An Post team are back in Belgium this week after a good showing in yesterday’s Rund um Köln in Germany. Four of the team, Mark Cassidy (28th), Ronan McLaughlin (38th), Benny De Schrooder (56th) and Kim Borry (61st), were involved in a 60 rider bunch sprint at the finish.

Dublin, Sunday 21st February, 2010: Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Eamon Ryan TD, joined cycling legend Sean Kelly (An Post Cycle Series Ambassador), and his daughter Stacey for an early morning bike ride to officially launch the 2010 An Post Cycle Series.
